Fantastic $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream
After a short availability back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back with an encore available until Dec. 2. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the complete package is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are multiple package options available here.
Primary Feature
The standout feature is definitely permanent access to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard mapping application that can be used to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Basic Package
The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, includes only four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Intermediate Package
The eight-item bundle for at least $15 offers enhanced value through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

Every volume from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, underground complexes, cities, and continents from almost any perspective. Users can also create character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously an even better deal for map-making newbies considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal across platforms, the applications only function with Windows systems.
Charitable Component
Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief. Package customization options is toward the top of the page, though users may also choose their donation amount in the right-hand section. There's also an "Adjust Donation" drop-down just below that, enabling adjustment of how much of your donation goes to Humble, Profantasy, and Save the Children.
