Automobiles in German Town Found Marked with Nazi Symbols in Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Local Law Enforcement
Police reported they were contacted by a resident who noticed a automobile in Hanau marked with reddish substance

Approximately fifty cars have been marked with what appears to be human bodily fluid in the Germany's city of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, according to authorities.

Cars, building surfaces and mailboxes were marked, occasionally with Nazi symbols, they reported in a statement.

Law enforcement say they were notified late on Wednesday night, when a resident observed that a vehicle in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been covered with a red-colored substance.

The fluid had been applied in the pattern of a Nazi symbol, they added.

Officers then located many other smeared automobiles and building exteriors in the surrounding area.

These symbols are banned in Germany under regulations banning the public display of symbols from the Nazi era.

Officials state early analysis indicate the liquid was most likely human blood.

"There is still no indication as to its source; investigators are currently not cognizant of any physical harm in association with the event," they commented.

City officials announced they were working "to solve the mystery" and have requested to the community for details.

A senior official stated the incident made him without words and needed to be resolved promptly.

"This event affects the center of Hanau and revives the pain of the far-right violent incident five years ago," he stated on a platform, recalling the killing of nine people by a shooter focusing on individuals of foreign heritage in five years prior.
